Process

I interviewed Summer 2016 for the new Toronto Office team.

From initial conversation to offer: 6 days.

3 Step Process:

  1. In-Person chat with a Technical Recruiter from the company. Going over your background, your passion and interests, as well as going over the role and the company.

  2. 45-minute Technical Phone call with a Senior Developer, going over a range of questions. These questions will range from OOP, Databases, Web Design, Error Handling, and basic Web Dev.

  3. 1-Hour In-Person On-Site Technical Interview. Interviewed with 2 senior members of the team, whiteboarding algorithms, database design, web development, and general thinking habits. If this goes well, immediately after, you will meet with another senior team member, which will go over final questions and present an offer.

Questions

Modified FizzBuzz, with different scenarios about it. For example:

How would you improve FizzBuzz speed if it needs to be called 1,000,000,000 times a day?
