Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience

Process

I applied on the website and received an email from the recruiter.

I had a video phone screen (Google Hangout) interview with one of the engineers the following week.

It seemed like they don't even screen resumes before calling candidates.

If you have X years of experience in Y technology, the engineer wouldn't even care about it and would ask/judge you about Z technology, which they might be working on.

Even a 30-second glance at my resume would have made it very clear that either I am not a fit for the work they do or what relevant questions would be appropriate to judge me.

When it came to coding skills, I was able to nail down the problem, compile the code, and run it with the correct output, but I still received a rejection the next day.

Snapchat may look like a cool place to work with lucrative pre-IPO equity, but at least I would not recommend it due to its not-so-good recruitment process and stereotyping of candidates.

Questions

Given a number n, how many ways can you create a BST? For example, for n=2, the output is 2. For n=3, the output is 5.
