Wait until they are back in the green before considering a career with SEMC
The work environment is relaxed, the people are nice, and the locality is great. SE is a global company; however, the RTP branch has less than 1000 employees. Pay is competitive and benefits are good. Managers encourage open dialogue and have an "open-door" policy.
Job security. SEMC is fighting for market share in the United States, and if there are losses reported for several quarters in a row, drastic personnel measures will be taken. In our department (Software), we went through four re-orgs in the past year. It seems like they still haven't figured out the best way to improve process.
