A month after a job fair, I got a call from a recruiter.
The recruiter told me that a manager was interested in interviewing me for a position I wasn't really interested in.
I wanted to try out manufacturing engineering, so I asked if I could change my resume to better exhibit my manufacturing experience.
The recruiter allowed me to change my resume and re-circulated it. One of the managers was interested and asked to interview me.
I got an offer the day after my interview.
