Mechanical Engineer Interview Experience - Los Angeles, California

Process

A recruiter reached out and asked if I was interested.

I then had three phone calls with engineers on the team who had an open position. Each call was mildly technical and lasted about an hour.

I then had a final in-person interview at their facility in LA. I gave a 20-minute presentation about a project I'd done in the past, followed by 20 minutes of questions.

The final step was a series of one-hour individual grilling sessions with other engineers on the team. If any decide you don't fit the bill, the recruiter informs you that you didn't make it and escorts you out.
