The interview process lasted two months, with five different interview sessions.
These included sessions with the recruiter, a couple of engineering managers, the engineering director, and a senior engineer.
In general, it was interesting; we had good communication, and I felt quite confident.
However, after two months, I received the following result: "We are very impressed with your background, but after much deliberation, we have decided to not move forward with your application at this time."
I was very angry that such a company as Splunk could not even provide normal feedback. I would have liked to know how I could grow, or simply that they had decided to hire another person. That would have been okay. But 'deliberation' is a very powerful argument.
