Standard screen, hiring manager, and in-person interview with members of the team/peers. There was a gap between the referral submission and the hiring manager's contact, I think due to HR delays.

Pros: - some good teams
- excellent compensation
- great product
Cons: - Career-ending technology in core enterprise.
- Awful program management. No idea of how to do Agile/Scrum.
- Re-org almost every year. New management comes in, screws up, gets fired, and the cycle continues. Extremely demoralizing.
I think most experienced Splunk employees now just kick back, do the bare minimum, and go home. Please wake us up when you have figured out what you are trying to do.

Pros: Splunk and its culture are top-notch. The pay is also at par with several product organizations in India. They offer good base and stock/cash compensation on top of it.
Most of the folks are good, open, and welcoming; easy to work with and mission-oriented.
Cons: After acquisition by Cisco, the benefits are trimmed off, and the total compensation is also negatively impacted, making it difficult to retain existing employees as well as hire fresh talent from the market.
