The process involves a recruiter phone screen, a tech phone screen, and then an onsite interview. Overall, it's a very slow process.
Typically, after a successful phone screen, you hear back within one to two days at the most. That was not the case here. They seem to have some sort of batch interview process where you have to wait for others to finish the phone screen stage.
That's fine, as I got through to the onsite and, in my opinion, did well. The recruiter even emailed me to schedule a follow-up call to convey that the results were positive. However, they were again finishing up other interviews.
I have not seen a tech company that just lines up candidates and interviews them one by one. Typically, if you do well, you get an offer, but apparently not here.
The recruiter ghosted me after promising to provide updates once the interviews were complete. If you are a future interviewee looking at this, beware, as I am not the only one experiencing ghosting. I will not interview with them again.
