Software Engineer Interview Experience - Heredia, Costa Rica
Process
This was the longest interview process I've ever encountered.
Expect to be ghosted between every step, and be prepared for more than five interviews. The entire process took over two months.
The interviews themselves are not difficult, but you might encounter a stray question since they are very subjective.
I had one experience where the recruiter informed me they would "try out" a test a manager had devised that very week, and I would be their guinea pig.
Additionally, they would state that I performed well in a round, but they had to interview more candidates in case a more "perfect candidate" appeared.
Questions
JavaScript questions, closures, a lot of CSS "tricks" and "gotchas".
