Cons: The internal project pipeline and staffing strategy are deeply flawed and create an unnecessarily toxic environment. Employees are brought in with expectations of steady client engagement, but when the bench is full or client allocations fall through, management shifts the blame onto individual contributors. You can proactively request billable work, pitch for client matching, and take every internal initiative possible, yet still receive vague feedback that your "performance" is lagging simply because the company lacks actual client projects to assign. Using arbitrary performance metrics as a cover for operational under-allocation and pipeline shortages is deeply demoralizing, disingenuous, and sets engineers up to fail regardless of their skill level.
