I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks.
The first was an OA which was mostly based on string algos, and then I was sent for the PI round where we had to solve similar questions. Then was the round which was basically integrating an API into the given repo.

Pros: A polyglot company. Lots to play with.
Cons: Terrible management. Confided about a mental health issue to a manager and received a glib response that "Stripe isn't for everyone." If I had kept better records, I would have filed a lawsuit.
Managers overpromise, and the understaffed team takes the brunt. I don't know if they either don't know how to manage people and projects, or they just don't care, but management is atrocious. There's no guidance, they play favorites, and people definitely get managed out.

Pros: Good product and great people.
Cons: Leadership is too worried about optics and Stripe's reputation and would go to any extent to preserve those. They tried to avoid layoffs with forced PIPs. Slack was monitored and used to put folks in PIP. Once a great company, it went downhill with over-ambitious leadership and missed outlooks. I am not sure how they overestimated the growth since they process payments for millions of customers.
