I was contacted about the position through LinkedIn by a recruiter. I had one technical phone screening with an engineer, then an onsite interview with 5 people throughout the day, which included lunch.
The onsite consisted of a manager chat, which focused on behavioral questions and career goals. Then, I had a general algorithms question that was focused only on getting to the solution, regardless of complexity. After that, I had a bug squash interview where I had to find a bug in an open-source library fork. Then, I had a system design question to design a feature in an application. I had an hour for this, with 30 minutes for design and 30 minutes for coding.
Given a snapshot of a popular open-source library and a failing test, please debug and triage the issue and provide the most accurate fix possible.
