Initial screening via recruiter call (phone screen). I did not pass this stage.
All interactions with the people involved were very positive. The interviewers made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions.
They were also knowledgeable about Stripe.

Pros: I love my manager, my teammates, and the work I'm doing.
Cons: Stripe in 2019 was my ideal company. But over the years, senior leadership has spread its engineers too thin and has been pretty unfocused.

Pros: Great people and engineering culture, very competitive compensation, growth opportunities, and interesting projects.
Before COVID, it was also lots of fun, with events, communities and groups, international trips, and other things which helped you enjoy.
Nowadays, the company really supports people during the COVID crisis and tries to keep the community during these difficult times. Really appreciate it!
Cons: Nothing, really. As a growing company, it has some challenges like lack of processes. It is not always clear who owns which part or who should do what. Eventually, it is all up to people to organize themselves, and surprisingly, it works.
Sometimes, we're moving too fast and then have to step back or close some gaps in technical debt.
But I think the company sees these problems and approaches them extremely efficiently.
