Software Engineer (Internship) Interview Experience - Canada
Process
I was sent a straightforward string manipulation OA. Be careful with tricky edge cases!
Then, I moved on to a 45-minute tech screen. The question has several parts (at least 4), with each building on the last. The first few parts are quite straightforward, but expect them to use different algorithms to combine.
I was then scheduled for a 2-hour onsite with a programming exercise (1 hour) and an integration exercise (1 hour). This did not go forward due to Stripe's layoffs, and I was told that I would be contacted with next steps in the coming days.
It's been a week or so, but I haven't heard anything yet. The recruiter was communicative and easy to reach throughout.
