A great company that seems to truly care for its employees. They take feedback seriously (at least from engineers, others less so) and put plans into action when there are complaints about friction. Great pay, great benefits.
Significant growing pains trying to migrate tech debt into something that scales better globally.
Too much process, bureaucracy, and politics creeping in, although it is inevitable.
Work/life balance is kind of low as there is constant pressure to deliver and show your impact.
Not sure what they could do better at this point.
Scheduling had no issue, but the interview itself was very confusing without clear selection criteria. Not to mention, the recruiter was silent for more than three weeks and rejected me when I sent a follow-up. This was very disrespectful.
HR screening (20 minutes). Then, the first coding interview over Zoom, planned for 1 hour. 10 minutes into the challenge, the interviewer informs me he cannot hear me anymore, despite both of us seeing Zoom was picking up the sound from my microphon
I was submitted via internal referral. Had a pleasant chat with the recruiter, talking about Stripe and my career, as well as potential roles. Was then dismissed, with no explanation given. Given that I was an internal referral, this is particular
