Pros

Good benefits; You can work from home 2-3 days a week and nobody cares. If you're looking for a paycheck and just want to coast, this is the place to be.

Cons

Product vision is miles behind anyone else in the industry.

There are pockets of engineering talent, but they can't do anything about it. I wouldn't be surprised if they all left.

Stubhub thinks it is agile, but it isn't. PMs don't always have requirements. Engineers drive the story board. It takes a very long time to release anything. The platform is always breaking. Engineers don't really use any design patterns. Technology is pretty outdated.

This is not a technology-driven company.

Advice to Management

Pay more attention to what's going on. During all hands, it often feels like leadership says one thing, but the experience is different. You won't attract the top tech talent until you become a technology company.
