Process

I applied online, and a recruiter scheduled an initial phone call. I explained my experience and expectations.

After a week, I was scheduled for an initial code pair challenge. There were multiple problems, and all the problems were on basic JavaScript. It tested concepts like scoping and recursive functions, etc. The engineer was nice and explained the problems in detail.

After two weeks, I received an email for an onsite interview. The interview consisted of four rounds with very minimal breaks. First, was a live coding project, and it was a fairly simple task to test knowledge on UI design. Next, I talked with the hiring manager and product manager. Finally, I had an hour-long interview with two engineers. They started asking nonstop questions on JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Recursion.

The next day, I was scheduled to talk with the VP, and he explained the company vision. It was just an introductory talk.

I didn't get any reply after the interview, and after a series of follow-ups, there was still no answer. After going through the whole process, the least they could do is send a reply. Overall, it felt like a horrible experience and simply a waste of time.
