I applied through a recruiter.
I interviewed at Swiggy (Bengaluru) in June 2019.
The first round was the machine coding round, which took around 2 hours to complete. After that, they gave me a coupon for lunch.
They made me wait for so long afterward for the second round. It was a full day wasted, from 9:30 AM to 6 PM, with most of that time spent waiting.
I don't understand why they call so many people if they don't have enough interviewers. I didn't understand why I was rejected. I don't know how much they were expecting from a candidate.
First Round (Machine Coding): They presented a real-time problem to solve and write APIs for it. They expect bug-free, complete production code for the problem.
Second Round (Machine Coding Review): They will review your code and ask about improvements and questions regarding it.
Third Round (Technical F2F): He asked to write code to draw a pattern for a given number n, as shown below:
1
2 3 4 5 6 7 Here n = 7.
If n is a 2-digit number, like 10, it should print as follows:
01
02 03 04 05 06 and so on until n.
For a given string, find the minimum length substring which has the same number of distinct characters within it.
