I applied online for a department team leader position. During my second interview, the Store Team Leader said she would love to give me that position but wouldn't because it would be a waste of my talents.
She asked if, instead, I would be interested in an ETL position, which is one step higher than what I was applying for.
I, of course, said yes, and she asked if I would come back in a couple of days and re-interview with her for the new position.
I assumed at that point that it would be a short process since she already said she wanted me for the position. That was not the case.
It's been five weeks since that first interview, and I still haven't received an offer. I've only had one other interview. The process is still ongoing, so I'll update once it's complete.
