Pros: Pay is good. Every other weekend off.

Cons: Work-life balance is terrible.

Pros: Nice team members and work environment.

Cons: Few hours scheduled each week. Customer service not a priority anymore. Hardly any cashiers scheduled. Poor raises.

Pros: Benefits are good. For retail, you get every other weekend off.

Cons: Communication is poor. Your next pay grade depends on you hitting a certain score for your department, not on everything else you do that is successful or how you actually run your department or store. It's frustrating when you work with a peer who makes more than you do, but yet they can't pull half the weight you do, and you are asked/required to help them. I'm all about teamwork, but Senior Management doesn't take that into consideration when it comes down to promotions. Management is leaving all the time, so you are always asked to pick up more duties or oversee other areas.
