Process

There was just one on-campus interview, and it wasn't super technical.

It mostly involved sketching out what we would have in a shopping cart object. The interview felt a bit rushed.

The recruiter I had switched jobs, which led to very limited communication for many weeks. Then, out of nowhere, I received an offer, which was a little frustrating.

Questions

What methods would you put in a Shopping Cart class?

Target Work Experiences

Kind Team, Reinventing Wheels

Madison, Wisconsin, United States

Pros: Good teamwork to stock the shelves and provide product value to the customer. The HR team promotes food recognition events. The work atmosphere is kinder than most.

Cons: Everyone reinvents the wheel: no SOP or benchmarking between stores. Each department is a silo, impacting staff, budget, and store-wide teamwork. The store leader may be great, may not be. It's hit or miss, but it will impact everything.
