Fair Pay, Promotion Barriers
The pay for an ETL is fair for retail. I was an assistant manager for Walmart, and the pay was a lot less. The benefits are good, and every other weekend off is nice too.
You have to be a car salesman to get promoted at Target. If you have outstanding work performance, and you cannot sell them some BS, you will not get promoted. It is easier to come from the outside in than inside up.
Promote your ETLs that produce results. Why not consider results instead of promoting someone from the outside who can sell you a car?
