Round 1: 30-minute phone call with the Hiring Manager.
Round 2: A 5-hour video call involving a 30-minute project presentation and one-on-one interviews with each of the five team members.
After waiting for one week for a decision, the job was verbally offered by the recruiter.
Plot twist: Following the initial decision, candidates are asked to describe three situations in writing where they solved a problem or achieved something significant. This written submission becomes part of their profile, along with their resume, feedback from each panel interviewer, work visa status, and detailed employment history.
This profile is then sent to the Director and President for approval.
My profile was approved by the Director but rejected by the President.
The President took 1.5 months to provide a decision and ultimately rejected the application with an illogical reason. During this 1.5-month period, I was led on with documents for benefits, relocation, perks, etc. They then hired someone else when they found a more suitable candidate.
