Because Tesla is “different,” they break the normal. That is good and bad. There’s room to challenge yourself.
Toxic environment. If you want a promotion, it will take 5-plus years. They will only promote mostly males, especially in engineering.
Value your employees for what they are strong at.
Pay attention and listen to your employees.

Screening interview with the hiring manager, very informal. Then 3 or so rounds of technical interviews with different engineers. Finally, panel interviews on location. Be prepared for very technical questions; break out the textbooks.
