Pros

Pays well and good people to work with.

Cons

They are stuck in a legacy type culture, and I am afraid they don't realize they need to change, especially around their obsession with cost. The place is barely being held together. If they lose a few key people, it's going to be bad. They have had a virtual monopoly on some parts for years, and they need to listen to suggestions from people who have been outside their system.

Advice to Management

Analyze the entire picture when making a decision, not just one dollar number. Time and inefficiency are also a cost. Experience and the quality of people matter. You can't just replace people with NCGs and expect the same results. The layoffs have been decimating. If we don't change, the company is going to collapse long term.
