Pros: Working here is a wonderful learning experience. An incredible network of knowledgeable people gives one the opportunity to excel in their respective field. People seem pretty excited to work here, which is good because it trickles down through the company.

Cons: Political hierarchy. Pecking order. Hard to find help or guidance for career advancement. No option for schooling. Compensation and benefits are in no way competitive to other companies. You are better off finding a plan on your own. People with families need to watch out.

Pros: There are some really good managers and senior managers who care about their people. There is plenty of opportunity to expand your technical knowledge without having to switch positions, mostly through peer learning. There are some good business processes in place, and where there aren't, management often allows engineers and analysts to improve the process. As I said in the title, if you find your niche, you can work on some really cool processes and technology and probably be one of the few people in your group who really understand the process. The corporate office, while crowded, has a city feel with some really nice amenities (cafeteria, coffee shop, gym).

Cons: It's a big company, and there is the typical red tape. Work/life balance varies; there are periods when it is great, average, then there are times when it is terrible. There are some glimpses of ITIL, but upper management is constantly in reaction mode, which more or less seems to be a way for them to establish their pecking order amongst other leaders in the company.

Pros: Orange culture, taking care of people even though COVID-19 is spreading.

Cons: Promotion opportunity is very limited.
