Pay is so-so. Definitely not enough for what is expected of you.
Upper management does not communicate at all with each other and very little with department managers. The hours are HORRIBLE. Full-time department managers are expected to be available any time, and part-timers are not. The result is that the full-timer gets to work all the crap shifts that part-timers can't or won't.
Give more consideration to your dedicated full-timers than you do the revolving door of part-timers. Pay your full-timers enough for them to live on so that they don't all qualify for welfare. If you can't do that, make it so they can get a supplemental part-time job elsewhere. Also, communicate!
The interview process is short. You receive two interviews, and it takes about a week to receive a callback. It takes about a week to get an interview after submitting an application.
They make it super easy and comfortable. It doesn't feel unnatural, which makes it easier to be yourself. I interviewed twice. Once to get my first position in the flooring department, and another time to get my supervisor position.
Straightforward, normal interview questions. Requires just one interview, then orientation. Fairly easy hiring process. You get to meet your supervisor, HR, managers, and take a tour of the building.
