They do some amazing things.
Success sharing:
Promotions are not merit-based. There are only so many of a certain level in a unit of the company. So, if there is someone in that slot, or too many are being presented, or your manager does not make a strong enough case for you, you won't be promoted. Some groups advance people quickly as they grow; others do not so much.
The ratio of consultants to employees is way off. We need more continuity.
We need to reverse the ratio of employees to contractors. The knowledge an individual gains during the course of their job has value.
Manage expectations better. If you pump up success sharing, saying there's more money than ever, but fail to mention there is an even greater number of employees getting a piece of that money, people will be expecting a larger check and be disappointed when it's smaller. This is really bad for morale.
It was a friendly interview process. I got the call from a reference. They called me up to the office and I had a face-to-face round. The questions were grounded in basics and were related to internet domains. They gave me one simple puzzle and asked
Very good. They asked questions from my resume, touched all points on my resume, and covered the overall flow of an application, from coding to deployment to maintenance and monitoring. They use TeamCity pipelines and GitHub Actions for code quality
A simple process of 2 interviews with the hiring manager and the director, and a session with HR. A very complete process where they give you feedback on how the process is going.
