The initial job application process was very slow. I sent in my application and didn't hear anything for weeks.
But then they contacted me for an in-person interview. This was a meet-and-greet, with no real technical questions. It was basically like a phone screen, but in-person.
Then they gave me a coding exercise to solve on my own. I didn't pass this step in the interview process, but the hiring manager provided very helpful feedback to me on what I missed.
