Telephone interview with the London office. I asked the interviewer if they maintain good OO standards. He blatantly said they do not follow any standards like good OO designs, etc. From then, I pictured cowboy coding practices.
I provided clean, well-documented, and fully object-oriented code for the second interview. However, the interviewer was interested in asking questions during the code review, which was way off in context. Like another reviewer said, "Google of ten years ago," which I find ridiculous.
I felt my skillset was not properly tested, and it was a total waste of my time. I am sure several other capable candidates would have gone through the same. The process needs to involve seniors from the US at an early stage.
