A recruiter contacted me a couple of days after I applied through LinkedIn.
All of the interviewers had a Chinese accent, and some of them were actually quite hard to understand.
However, the overall interview was not bad. The interviewer was quite nice and good at interviewing.
First round: basic front-end questions, such as JavaScript fundamentals, Promises, and React. Then, we proceeded to the coding section. I was asked to create an autocomplete widget in React, which I then had to improve using debouncing.
Second round: This round began with a question about a challenging project I had completed, and then moved on to the coding section. This was an algorithmic question related to date conversion. It was a very ambiguous question, and I had to ask many questions to clarify the desired outcome.
Last round (hiring manager): This started with an open-ended question, such as "How do you troubleshoot if a user encounters a blank content page?" We then discussed a challenging project I had worked on. Lastly, we moved on to the coding section, which involved an algorithmic problem related to CSS selectors.
