On the positive side, the company does offer good benefits and compensation, which can be attractive at first. However, these do not make up for the negative aspects of the work culture.
I would not recommend working at TikTok. The environment is toxic, with unrealistic expectations around working hours. It’s taken for granted that you should stay late regularly, and there’s little respect for work-life balance. The culture promotes burnout rather than growth, and it’s not a supportive place for long-term career development.
A horrible, demeaning, and chaotic experience. It wasted a week of my life with last-minute postponements, the interview was stopped halfway through, and the date was changed. The next interview was missed, followed by a subpar automated rejection l
The interview went quite smoothly (I had 4 or 5 in total), but at the end, they offered me a salary that was way below the amount noted on this site and far from what people I know have told me. It was significantly less than what I earn at the momen
In 3 steps: - Very easy and understandable interviews - About 7 questions per interview 1. First screening call 2. Second call with the stakeholder POC 3. Third call with HR
