Software Engineer Intern Interview Experience

Process

The initial phone screening had two questions.

The interviewer was nice but all business. There were no behavioral questions, and they cut straight to tech questions:

  • Describe a hash table.
  • How would you find duplicates in a BST?

I think I did pretty well on them and am still waiting to hear back about the next step in the process.

My advice: study basic data structures and read TripAdvisor's blog post on acing the tech interview.

Questions

Nothing too difficult.
