Pros

Good work-life balance, remote-first, base pay is okay, friendly folks, good culture.

Cons

Growing pains, sometimes it feels like the Wild West.

There is a lot of internal documentation, but it is not well structured and not kept updated.

Communication between infrastructure and product teams is not efficient nor effective.

The on-call follow-the-sun concept is not implemented well, as one team is not distributed geographically.

A lot of technical debt, semi-automatic deployments, a lot of not the best internal tooling. It feels like we are about 10 years behind.

Advice to Management

Speaking for engineering:

Standardize processes across the company so we can follow one clear way of working.

Improve communication between siloed teams (sometimes it feels like multiple teams are working on the exact same thing).
