Process

Round 1: Call with the recruiter.

They shared Typeform values, a bit about the product, what they expect from me, a brief about the next rounds, and answered any questions I had.

Round 2: System Design.

I had this round with 2 other EMs where I was asked about designing a particular problem and talking about scalability, reliability, and the design decisions I took to solve the problem.

Round 3: People Management.

More of a scenario-based interview, focusing on:

  • Execution & Delivery
  • Collaboration & Teamwork
  • Knowledge Sharing
  • Ethics & Values

Round 4: Behavioural Interview.

Questions will revolve around Leadership, World-Class Engineering, and Attitude, as well as your motivation to join Typeform. I'd recommend using the STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result) for this.

Questions

How did you resolve conflicts in your team?

Share a situation when you worked with a low-performing employee and how did you improve it?
