This then led to a 45-minute interview with a member of the team.
They asked me some random questions about the subject matter, which went great.
Now, they have offered me a video interview next week!

Pros: After many years in a small company, I'm having a great time at Uber. I'm learning a lot from skilled coworkers and I've had opportunities to work on important projects from the first week. I really love the transparency about internal metrics.
Also, great benefits.
Cons: The fast growth of the company may not be for everybody; things are changing really fast.

Pros: Even though Uber is growing crazy fast, it still has a startup feel.
The people I work with are super smart, driven, and helpful. That goes for all departments, not just engineering.
I find it really motivational that I get to work on hard problems that have a massive impact worldwide.
Also, it's great to tell people you work at Uber because almost everyone knows the product.
Cons: Lunches aren't the best I've had, but still pretty good overall. ;)
