Process
I had a phone screen that I feel was not set up well. I asked the recruiter to schedule it in the afternoon, but they scheduled it for early in the morning. This might have been because they did not realize their time zone was different from mine.
The phone screen also did not go well because the interviewer's speakerphone was very muffled. I told them the connection was not good, but they did not want to try calling back.
As a result, I could not hear their questions clearly and had to ask them to repeat a few times, which ate into the time I needed to solve the problems.

People care more about the projects instead of focusing on the product and user experience.
Promotions are everything in the company; it doesn't matter if the feature is awful from a user experience point of view.

Pros: Leadership: Dara has a clear goal of how to drive the company.
Projects are still very challenging and interesting, regardless of the area you may be in.
Team: Regarding direct leaders, the experience I've had is great. The team and leaders let you do the best you can.
Cons: Reputation, unfortunately, the company/team has gone through some bad periods. Hopefully, we are over that.

Pros: I get to work with the smartest people I've ever worked with to build a product that I've used and loved since it first launched. And I get to help bring this great product to new markets, giving consumers and job seekers an additional choice.
Here are 3 things besides the product and our mission that make me want to work harder:
* Employees are given a lot of flexibility and trust. I'm not encumbered by a lot of process. I get to write code and deploy it that day.
* The company is very open internally. I feel like I have a very good idea of what we're doing and what our plans are.
* Our CEO. TK might be our hardest worker. He's smart and principled and very candid at our weekly company-wide TK Q&A. It's great having a leader you really believe in.
Cons: The only con I can come up with is how fast we're growing internally. I have to spend a lot of time interviewing candidates.
