Process
Quite a good interview.
They contacted me really fast. My final interview was with a local. I haven't had any notice since then. I tried contacting them, but haven't had any response. I hope to get an answer, whether I continue or not.

A challenging place for engineers
Software Engineer II • Current Employee
San Francisco, California, United States
December 26, 2016
Pros: - The company is still growing fast and has lots of potential in areas like auto-driving cars.
- There are always new projects to work on. Most of the time, it is hard to decide what to work on next since there are so many choices.
Cons: Organizational direction changes constantly. Uber seems to have a good vision about the long-term mission, but down to specific projects in the engineering department, chaos is present all over the place.
Politics and internal friction are increasing as company culture somehow encourages aggressiveness. You need to know how to fight for yourself, even if you are just an engineer.
