Approached on LinkedIn; a CV was not required.
The interview process consisted of:
- A call with HR
- A call with an Engineer
- A Systems Design Interview
- An Interview which involved reading a codebase and reviewing a pull request.
The overall experience was positive. However, five rounds of interviews felt quite long.
The interview involving the pull request was interesting and different from other interviews. I personally liked this approach.

Pros: Nice people to work with, with lots of creative minds involved.
Cons: Not paid very well. When there's WFH, most of the benefits that offset the low salary aren't available anymore (company events, trips, catering, etc.).

MOST TOXIC UPPER-MANAGEMENT EVER!

Pros: Working at Unity used to be something you would feel proud of. Over the years, the company has shifted from a nice mentality of dynamic and get-things-done towards bullshit AI, Metavers, DigitalStupidTwins, nonsense projects, etc.
Cons: There is no doubt that something is wrong with upper management. They literally laughed in our faces by getting big, massive bonuses while cutting all our benefits. This wouldn't be such a problem if they hadn't cut the promotion cycle. "In it together"? Really? Is this how together we are? The company is rigged!
