Pros: A very relaxed work culture that encourages growth and respects the connection between personal wellbeing and development to performance and work.

Cons: Deadlines are a bit slow, but I'd rather bide my time perfecting a product than create something half-baked on a time crunch.

Pros: - Most of the co-workers are nice and highly skilled. - Compensation is OK. - Nice benefits. - The tech stack is interesting. - Massive scale of data.

Cons: - No career progression if your work is not classified as "high impact." Meaning people with good connections will work on new and fancy projects, and the rest will be left with all the maintenance work on legacy systems. - Lack of documentation practices. Two-year-old Slack threads and source code are the best documentation you can find. - Understaffed teams. - Constant addition of middle-management layers. - Most of the middle managers don't add much value. - All the decision-makers are in the US. - Almost no options other than ads-specific roles in Helsinki.

Pros: The food was nice at lunch.

Cons: Senior devs valued their own growth over juniors'.
