Unity has some astonishing people in both middle manager and individual contributor roles. Some of the best people I have worked with.
Unity engine is an awesome tool that provides tremendous value to game developers.
Good compensation in EMEA.
Environment supports you if you are career-driven and have Machiavellian tendencies.
- Individual Contributors (developers) are not respected.
- Mushroom management.
- No longer a gaming / game engine company.
- Upper management lacks competence.
- Upper management cannot ever admit fault, and they lie and twist reality in a vain effort to cover things up.
Advice for upper management is to take a course in leadership and start to listen.
Advice to the board is to replace upper management.
