Verizon uses the STAR method for their interviews. I have sat on both sides of the interview table at Verizon and conducted countless interviews with sales people. The behavioral questions needed to be answered in the STAR response, which stands for:
- S = Situation
- T/A = Task or Action
- R = Results
I was looking for the heavy use of "I" and no use of the word "we". I wanted to know what they did.
