Process

Tell me about yourself.

Data structures. Python Frameworks. Building and deploying data pipelines.

The self-video interview was a bit off-putting. I am not a huge fan of interviews that do not involve other humans. The questions were fairly straightforward and normal; it took me about 40 minutes to complete.

Questions

Applied online and was in touch with an in-house recruiter the next day. They asked me a bit about myself, what I was looking for, and organized an interview for the following week.

I attended the interview and was met by the SOC manager and a team leader. The interview began with an introduction, my job history, some technical security questions, and then a 50-question multiple-choice test regarding cyber incident response. This was my first time taking a multiple-choice test during an interview after many different positions within multiple companies.

After the interview, I heard from the recruiter the next day and was made a financial offer. After some changes, I accepted the offer, fulfilled a background check, and gave my notice to my former employer.
