Pros

Verizon does pay pretty well, and the benefits are top-notch.

Cons

Verizon has always been a tough place to work, but in the past, everyone worked together, and that made up for short project timelines and the like. Now, they have to pay well and have good benefits to make up for the culture becoming unfocused and toxic. However, toxic leaders are given promotions. The money that is due to you may be diverted to someone else if that is what some director wants to do.

Advice to Management

Do not be afraid to fire executives who are not performing or causing chaos because they simply cannot lead.
