Cons

Now, there are many job openings online because quite a few people have recently left. One of the best hardware engineers I worked with was fired a few months ago due to the toxic culture in the camera hardware team. It was a great shame for his managers to do this, since he had helped solve almost all the critical issues for the product before its launch, and then he was suddenly let go.

Some higher-level people spoiled the EPMs for no reason, and one or two of these EPMs, who was or is still on the team, are the root cause of such toxic vibes. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Talking behind someone's back
  • Creating dramas

Another engineer left due to lack of supervision and mentoring, which is something you might expect when you join this company if you are a fresh graduate. This is something you should really consider.

Advice to Management

Talk to your team members to figure out what is going on, if they wish to tell you.
