An amazing, passionate group of people, a motivated, compassionate CEO, and a steady stream of solid launches over the last 8 months.
Having been at Vimeo for nearly a year, even though there have been some changes, I have the exact opposite opinion of some of the negative reviews posted recently. My impression is that Vimeo used to be a bunch of friends hanging out, but honestly not getting a whole lot done. A lot of the people from "the early years" are nostalgic for the days when working at Vimeo had much less to do with work/growing a business and more to do with being around a bunch of likeminded people. All companies go through changes when they're becoming something more substantial, and that's 100% the case here.
The new CEO, Anjali Sud, is among the most competent, strategically minded and motivated executives I've worked with to date. She cares about getting it right, about shipping great products that our community wants, and - most importantly - about growing the business.
Change is hard, and sometimes requires making unpopular decisions, but I feel totally confident about where Vimeo is headed and see a passion for taking the company to great new places in my colleagues every day. Don't be fooled by the reviews from people longing for an era when the company wasn't launching anything new. If you're interested in working here, come meet the folks on board who are excited to build something great.
The free snacks could be a little more healthy, but – you know – free snacks, so I guess this isn't much of a con.

I was contacted on LinkedIn, had a phone interview, they flew me to NY for my in-person interview, and I was made an offer. They then paid for me to relocate.
Applied online, got a call from a recruiter the next day, and the interview was scheduled. Round 1: DS/Algo Advanced DSA topics, min-heap, max-heap, and graph questions. 20 minutes went into project descriptions. The interviewer wanted me to code
