Major misalignment between HR and Hiring Manager.

Pros:

• Brand name and potential for interesting scale.

Cons:

• This was my fourth poor experience with Visa recruitment in 7 years.
• Despite asking the recruiter multiple times to confirm the format of the second round, I was explicitly told it would be non-technical.
• However, the hiring manager arrived 20 minutes late and immediately began a technical assessment.
• I declined to participate because the process did not align with what was promised.

Advice to Management:

• Ensure recruiters and hiring managers are on the same page regarding interview formats.
• Ghosting candidates after multiple rounds (which has happened to me twice here) and showing up late to interviews creates a very poor candidate experience.
