Three rounds of interviews were conducted during the first day of the placement season. The last round was the HR round; the previous two rounds were technical. A job was offered within four hours of the interviews. The panel was quite friendly and accommodating.

Questions

Basic Networking questions on TCP/IP handshake, etc.

Architecture design question.

Pros: Good work-life balance, with a hybrid work arrangement. Can take PTO without any concerns.

Cons: Even if you have visibility among senior management and do your job perfectly, even above your level, you may not get promoted. Simply because there are already engineers who have worked longer in the same position. Time is not a good measure of work quality. The annual raise is low. The yearly bonus is terrible. The pay itself is lower than peers. This will be a trade-off for good work-life balance.
