Pros: Several reasons as to why working at Visa was a positive experience (this is as of 2019):
* Good work-life balance overall.
* Lots of fun activities: trips to adventure sports, movies, parties with teams, and so on. The intern forum was also pretty cool.
* Real-time production projects for interns, or at the very least projects that enhance your learning.
* Comfortable accommodation provided throughout the internship, including daily transport to the office.
* Decent pay.
* Visa University and Visa TV are valuable learning resources.
* Good peer group, ranging from students across IITs, NITs, and other top institutes.
* Cool office, which includes a gym, indoor games, massage chairs, and so much more.
* You'll work for one of the most valuable brands in the world!
Cons: Individuals are allotted to teams without prior consideration of their personal interests. (For some, this is a big problem!)
Regardless, it's worth mentioning that HR and the managers evaluate the individual and accordingly match their role at the company most of the time.
