On one day, five rounds were conducted, and in between, they took care of the candidates by providing them lunch.
Luckily, I cleared and got an offer, which I accepted. However, I later received a better opportunity and moved on.
First Round: 20 MCQs on Big Data, Data Warehouse, Unix, and testing concepts. It included two important programming questions (Palindrome and Frequency of a word) that could be answered in any language. The test was conducted on HackerRank.
Second Round: A one-on-one interview focused on a programming question. The task was to display true or false if a number in an array is equivalent to the sum of numbers to its left and right (termed as index number). Candidates were also asked to write unit test cases. This round primarily aimed to assess how a person thinks about different scenarios for breaking code.
Third Round: This round involved discussing the candidate's work. It covered basic testing concepts and projects handled. The interview also included SQL queries, such as deleting duplicate rows with a single query, and the use of RANK, LEAD, and LAG functions, as well as joins.
Fourth Round: This was the round with the Director. Questions focused on challenges faced in work and how they were tackled, essentially judging the candidate's nature in handling challenges and their willingness to perform and manage work. Candidates were also asked to describe their role and the work they were hired for.
Fifth Round: This was an HR round where "About You" was asked. Policies were explained, and other HR-related questions were posed.
